With regard to the item on last night's broadcast re: the University of
Pennsylvania's claim to being the first to generate electricity directly
from gasoline in a fuel cell, apparently you aren't aware that Global
Thermoelectric of Calgary has already accomplished this by linking it's
solid oxide fuel cell with Delphi Automotive's gasoline reformer.ÿ The
system is currently being considered by BMW for powering accessory
systemsÿ in automobiles, thus reducing the load on the motive engine.
