p.s. Jim; happily a comic experience, but I believe pressure cookers can be a bit disagreeable if not handled carefully :-(

Stopped point/counterpoint on page 4 for now. Don't think I have the background to understand it, although it is expressed very clearly. I know that Schaeffers is always talking about their model in the daily market directions piece, & I just set the term aside to concentrate on what else they are offering.

Switched to Reminiscences of a Stock Operator which has also been rough sledding. Something he said about bucket shops "bucketing" the orders, however, resonated. Bing bing. Pay for order flow. Are we all (not Harry-he has a real broker) dealing with the contemporary equivalent of bucket shops? Probably not. Probably there was something worse about them than that.
