Aus - I see a # of possibilities:

1. The NAZ is divergent from the DOW again;
2. The motions on in USDC of No. Calif. tomorrow;
3. Taiwan elections on Saturday (I believe);
4. SEG may be selling shares to raise cash if Veritas attempts to buy them out.

IMHO

Aus, re today's trading range, I see the same pattern in many of the high tech stocks I follow. Apparently there were a lot of buy orders at the opening of the market, then not enough to keep the stock prices up after that. I think that this means that the early buyers felt that the NAZ stocks were ready to move back up, but the majority of investors were not convinced. For me, this looks like a good buying opportunity later today or perhaps in the next day or two. I wonder what others here think.
