It all seems technical in nature. There is no fundamental back-drop. Last time DOW up this feverishly was in October 1998 - on the day Greenshit announced a rate cut. If I didn't know any better (which is always debatable -g-), I would have thought there was another rate cut or something yesterday.

Come to think of it, I am beginning to wonder, if this jamming of DOW and S&P above 10.5k and 1400 has anything to do with saving a few players from shelling out the dough on the naked index shorts.

BTW, Slickster can feel the pain of his people, so he is contemplating to suspend the gas tax.
