Slider, laggard ideas. Check out HWL. It's a microcap, but it's a mostly crude E&P. Debt is a little high, but they've been reducing it and it's manageable. Check out their earnings last quarter and then look where their stock is at. Not a bad play if you ask me.

NR is still lagging so I bought more. Got PGO at TDW this morning at nice prices.

I bought back into ETP too. Doesn't look like it's coming down much and I love the crude heavy plays.

OXY finally broke it's downtrend. Should be any easy play to the 19-20 area and then post OPEC probably 22-24. Missed out on the April options for safety reasons, but I suspect the others will pay off nicely.

Financial sector roaring today.

OT - Slider, SVRN (financials) looks like a monster...

Have you looked at the short interest and the amount of institutional buying during the past quarter? I compared these two factors to it's peers and none are even close so far.

Net Inst. Buying: 36.7M shares (+25.36%) (prior quarter to latest quarter) From yahoo.

Short interest is around 11 mil shares with average volume around 2 mil. If we close above 8 during the next couple days it could get very interesting. Currently holding WM, ASFC, AFS and SVRN in financials.

Laggards? After PGO, It's GOT to be SESI. ESPECIALLY after the GOM auction. These guys LIVE in the GOM. With the recent addition of Cardinal my bet is this puppy goes past it's old cycle high to around 17. Yes, PGO is one of the precious few OS'ers that are ++doubles, SESI will EASILY double from here. Also, UFAB. After the GOM lease auction, I am beginning to believe D. Berards statements about this being a strong season coming up for fabs. It was a great auction for shallower water blocks. Jackups should start flying out of storage. This is UFAB territory. Jackets, decks, etc. It's an easy 50% popper on some new contracts which could happen any time now.

Slider, we did`nt miss the gains.......we just made them in the financials. There will be better buying opps. in the OSX
than yesterday and this AM.......we`re gonna bank on it!!

We`re still ahead in the OSX by selling two Tues. ago and made a bundle in banking. So where did we go wrong??? If OSX reaches 114 and we`re still out, then by all means call us assholes!!..............but we`ll be back in way before then. Bought small positions in FLC PGO and GLM at the close yesterday....just for a little insurance.

The Patrol,

P.S. been holding IIR since 3-23-99 @ 3 9/16
another bad move??? you tell us
