Medic! Medic! What a punishment today. I guess I can be philosophical ---- the 7 bagger suddenly is only a 4 bagger. I considered this my best value stock based on P/R < 1 for so long, I did realize that the margin was somewhat tight from the cellphone industry, but I felt that there was a way for Audiovox to play in the same space as rimm's blackberry with their own web-browsing cdma-phones. Unfortunately, the market seems to have suddenly decided that earnings is now a big deal for voxx, and not for rimm. The same sort of thing happened to one of my favourite stocks, but this other stock (ATYT) basically fell over many months, before staging a spectacular recovery. VOXX lost about the same %age in a short period of 10 days. Time to reach for that bottle of scotch again. I need a couple of stiff drinks to sober up.
