There is a story being pushed right now that mentions the elder Bush went to Kuwait in Jan and might have influenced the OPEC nations through Kuwaiti leadership to cut oil production, causing rising prices, leading to inflation and economic disruption to help insure GW's election in the fall. I have no source at this time, except a talk show reference and I was unable to catch the author's name.

Haqihana--you're almost there. Why vote for corrupt power?? How does that prevent our losing more freedom?? Please understand that neither Bush nor Gore or anyone else in the Democrat-Republican party complex is your friend!!!--How long do you keep on eating at restaurants that always serve bad food at high prices?
