By chance, ran into a GMST executive officer at a telecom conf' in NYC: - described adoption of EPG/IPG as "nascent"--beginning of the adoption period - when I collared him after his presentation (neither a Sprewell nor a Bobby Knight grip), he indicated, in effect, that management was confident that HSR would be favorably resolved; and - contrary to a previous poster's glib view, the imperative behind the e-book acquisitions proceed at this time from a first mover strategy, combined with a specific GMST synergy, and not from any unique IPR. Posted edit: forgot a key point: part of the vision here is that the e-books will be delivered, in time, on a GMST IPG-enabled set! Steve (Q beginning to be a first mover itself, Climber--best)
