Many folks thought they could "Time ORCL" because ORCL used to drop during quite period. Shorts thought they figured out ORCL pattern. But ORCL simply had so many press release to issue and shorts got burned badly just before Tuesday. Then they thought "Aha, Fed fears might work after earnings." Old economy couldn't go that high for two days if folks hadn't grown complacent about shorting them freely. Knowing ORCL business nature these days. LE might drop news after news unexpectedly. So ORCL might turn into "Momentum Short Stock" which means ORCL can hurt a lot of shorts for sometime. These are all mho. later, InSook
