$200 target on LDP ($50 after next week's 4-for-1 split) sounds very good and very do-able to me...

See you there next week....

Jimbo.

Thanks for posting. Looks like it was released at the end of the day.

Kudos to Calandra. This is the sort of thing I think we all hoped would happen. This really helps new investors understand the company and raises the profile.

I like Whitehead's comments about the company's other successful businesses aside from venture capital, and the statement that they don't need to raise money. No need to dilute stock or sell holdings. Gotta love the business model. Perhaps more articles get written in the future, maybe someone with the "Berkshire Hathaway Model for the 21st Century" angle. Maybe not an exact comparison, but good enough for a journalist, and a story.

I did not know that SAI is building a Web portal for investment advisors.

Also, don't have it but saw the reference to Bear Stearns' new report and price target of $200.00. Bear Stearns must be extremely bullish, for they're calling for nearly a double from here, and given analyst's propensity to error on the conservative side.....well. It's highly probable we are seeing and are going to see a jump in ownership by institutions in the future.

And I was just thinking on Monday that news and events might be rather slow this week.
That was wrong.
