Rushnomore, How do you gap up 25 points at the open???

Aus, I was watching on a Level II. We didn't gap up 25, we gapped up roughly four at the open. INCA (Instinet) kept upping their bid. It was almost a feeding frenzy as bids just kept going up and up. When the bid was 133 I stuck out an offer at 135 to get rid of some I had bought as a short-term trade yesterday. I was hit immediately. We ran to 140 in another minute, then tanked down to 122. All of this happened in the first few minutes.

I am not sure what started it, but I suspect that the unsuspecting thought there was some news. They got sucked in, then the people still nervous about our huge run up sold off their shares. I'm not a huge believer in technical analysis (it shows you what you should have done after you should have done it <G>), but it appears that we are building a nice base here. Maybe we will get our Lexar ruling tomorrow and these prices that we only dreamed of a few months ago will be in our rearview mirror.
