Wonder when folks will realize that all ot the good news coming out means 1Q #'s and future #'s will beat expectations? Maybe somebody is starting to get it: cnnfn.com FWIW, my current job is working on the Power4 y'all have been talking about. I do the logic design for the I/O interface and own a little less than 1% of the area on the chip. Haven't actually sat down and counted the transistors but probably close to a million. This is one big job. That article that extracted getting from 1.1 to 2 GHz by going from .18 um to .13 um must be using some new math I haven't figured out yet though...
