Here's a nice recovery play for you, CDV.TO. Unfortunately it's only listed on the TSE.

amazing.. NITE securities today was on the bid of two different securities I was trading.. I put my order to sell, and they immediately took away the bid and lowered it considerably..

same scenario, 2 different stocks.. I kid you not.. The second one, a stock that traded under 100k today, I actually joked to my broker about what they did earlier- and than he said to me 'holy cow- they did it again Paul..'

The thing that burns me up is that its so blatant! Occasionally Ill put a market order in if I made a fantastic profit, or if I need to cut a loser, and they play the same game. Like BB stocks.. you put a market order in, and it fills 1/2 lower.. but isnt it illegal to post a bid and not fill on it?!??!

.. this is only my opinion of what happened.. Im not qualified to really understand what market makers are or are not doing, but if anyone can ellaborate- im all ears.. Just imagin doing this how many times a day?

I've got a question for Anthony or anyone else who's interested in answering. Someone on another thread keeps insisting that it is illegal to short sell a stock within 30 days of an IPO. Can this be true? Many posters here on SI bragg about short selling various stocks on the same day as their IPO and I believe them. I'm wondering if perhaps brokerage houses set their own rules about this. If there are any SEC regulations pertinent to the matter, I am unaware of them. Would appreciate any comments about this topic.
