I cannot count the number of time I have seen a stock recommended only to see it fall ... or a stock downgraded only to see it rise ... think about it ...

I'll bet if you do the math, you'll find out that the analysts are wrong 50% of the time :-) But your post about "Big Boys" and "Professionals" is just an example of the paranoia I'm talking about.

Equity analysts and traders at the same brokerage firm do not collaborate. You think about it. Why would the analyst do it? If it works the trader gets a fat bonus for making money - what does the analyst get? Do you think the analyst goes to his boss and says "me and Joe the trader have been illegally working together for the whole year, so I want to share in some of his bonus profits"?

And if it happens, why has a case like this never been uncovered (at least to my knowledge)?

Enough is enough. Where's the big Intel announcement that is going to make AWRE's chart look more like RMBS' chart??

PS - Article in the WSJ today says that the cable companies are overloaded by heavy users. Cable shares bandwidth, DSL is segregated...
