The answer is INTC wants to use monopolistic practices to keep their market share and any edge to keep others from gaining an edge. It is nto as easy now since AMD has faster chips and they dont use RDRAM's! Also INTC themselves will have both regular SDRAM and RDRAM versions of the chip's.. Once peopel look more closely and find the speed increase is not worth paying 50% more RMBS will come down just like QCOM.. But PMCS woowoo..
