How are my old short trade artist friends? It's been awhile since I have even lurked.

I hope you all made out like bandits on this most recent, technical, (and predictable) Nasdaq retracement. I was fortunate enough to have lightened up at the first sign of retreat, avoiding losses and preserving capital - just not gutsy enough to place across the board shorts.

I read some prior posts - I still avoid using fundamental or P/E based analysis used by those wanting to short. In this market, where too much (ever increasing) money chases too few stocks, it just doesn't work. I prefer charts - trade ahead of the flock - whichever the direction.

As of todays afternoon trading, the bounce on the Nas may have begun. Is it a bounce (and then resumed selling) - or back to the climb to the moon - who knows.

I actually bought some PG but like all 3 letter stocks, it moves so slow I got bored and went back to scouting NAS movers - up or down - at least they move. I bet the present move to DOW will not last either as they lack sex appeal.

Anyway, just comparing notes.
