Rick, David is absolutley right and he made a great call. VRTX barely got their convert offering done and the underwriters had to bring in the hedge funds to round out the book. These funds short against the stock to lock in gains. At least they raised the money and in the long term as Biowa likes to point out VRTX has the potential to be many multiples of its current price. v1
