JC,

Thank You for all the good information. I just took an interest in this thread recently. Thought I missed the boat when the stock popped to 130. Today was good for an entry, talk about timing (not in the 90s, but it's ok, as long as we don't revisit sub-100)! Calandra coverage sweet - I had tried to pull a report from Multex and Schwab, and they were outdated, sketchy, did not tell the story.

Big smile on me today,
George

More evidence of fund buying:

kineticsfunds.com

from portfolio commentary dated March 13, 2000:

>>We have discovered a number of intriguing venture capital-oriented firms based outside of the U.S. For example, the Fund has taken positions in London Pacific Group (NYSE: LDP), Formula Systems (NASDAQ: FORTY), and Ampal-American Israel Corp. (NYSE: AIS). London Pacific is an insurance company with a long history of successful Internet venture investing, under the name of Berkeley.<<

This fund has a five star rating from Morningstar, the highest rating. It's historic performance is very good.

Again, most of you know this, but the split is effective for record holders as of the close on Thursday, March 23, and is payable on Friday, March 24. It is reasonable to assume that one reason for the timing of the split is due to highly favorable institutional response from the just completed road show.
