Montello's Oil Property Joint Ventured

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Montello Resources Ltd. has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with an Alberta based Private Company to drill
Montello's Sturgeon Lake, Alberta oil property. A single wellbore will evaluate a seismically defined Devonian Leduc reef
pinnacle buildup with an anticipated recoverable reserves estimate of 5 to 8 million barrels of oil. The pinnacle appears to be
approximately « mile wide and 400 feet high. Located at the hinge point and shelf break of the Leduc platform, the isolated
pinnacle feature is in an optimum geological position for growth development and oil accumulation.

The same wellbore will test a seismically defined Devonian Swan Hills barrier reef (up dip and up structure of an existing Swan
Hills discovery) with an anticipated recoverable reserves estimate of 1.5 million barrels of oil. The barrier reef appears long and
sinuous (yielding additional drilling targets on the section) with approximately 35 feet of stratigraphic reef growth at the targeted
location.

Reef growth at Leduc and Swan Hills levels is supported by a dramatic Precambrian basement structure.

Under the terms of the Joint Venture, the Private Company will pay 100% of the costs to drill, log, case, complete and equip
the Test Well to earn 50% Working Interest After Payout (APO) in the wellbore and 50% Working interest in the entire
section. Montello Resources Ltd. will be in a sliding Scale Royalty position Before Payout (BPO) in the wellbore and 50%
Working Interest After Payout (APO) and retain a 50% Working Interest in the entire section.

Beaver Drilling Ltd. will drill the well to a depth of 2800 Meters. Drilling, logging and evaluations is expected to take 14 to 18
days. Drilling is scheduled to commence April, 2000.

For further information please contact Montello Resources Ltd. at 604-689-1799.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MONTELLO RESOURCES LTD.

So, what's your point? I made money on MEO, then reinvested and broke even on MEO, then reinvested in ESTN on the COATS (an internet play) at 18 cents, and it is now at around $2.00. As well, I reinvested my profits in several legit junior miners, and have done quite well. I am sick and tired of hearing that "good news" on MEO seems to be always be "just around the corner" or "after the AGM" or "next week". For your sake, I hope I am wrong. Regards.
