OT BTW, I was recently visiting in LA and also spent time on the Promenade. There's a really nice Mexican restaurant the next street over. Can't remember the name right now, but the food was great! <edit> La Serenata was the name,I think...... Again, enjoyed your post and thank you for sharing your story. bp La Serenata de Garabaldi on Fourth St (Positively to straightime) There is also a La Serenata Gourmet on Pico Blvd in West L.A. Both are excellent. Id p.s. I do not make a market in either!:-)
