My SDSL provider switched to RBAK! here's why... As per my last email, last Friday night, March 3rd, we replaced our Cisco router in NYC with a Redback SMS-1800. This was done to increase capacity of the number of customers that we could serve in your area. The other reason was automation. The Redback systems have capabilities in them to allow them to be tied directly into the database at our main office to help installations for new customers go smoother and to alleviate the amount of work that was needing to be done by hand to bring up a new customer.
