I don't know the criteria --- or politics --- of being chosen, but I'm quite sure Merrill doesn't know the first shareholder lawsuit has already begun. I'm not involved as I don't own stock, and never have, but someone who has wrote to say they'd joined.

Korea Thrunet Reaches the Milestone of 200,000 Paying
Subscribers

SEOUL, South Korea and NEW YORK, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Korea Thrunet Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: KOREA - news) has confirmed that as
of March 13th, 2000 it has officially reached the milestone of 200,000 paying subscribers far in advance of its original plans made at the time of
the Nasdaq listing in November of last year. This represents a growth in subscribers in excess of 1,600% since the beginning of 1999, and
re-affirms the Company's leadership position in an expanding marketplace.

The monthly average in new subscribers during the first two months of the 1st quarter 2000 was 29,212, far larger than the average of 14,682
recorded during the 4th quarter 1999. Despite the new entrants in the Korean broadband Internet access market, the Company is confident of its
continued growth in subscriber base. Korea Thrunet currently has a backlog in excess of 150,000 registered applications for its new service.
