The essential concept is to sum up the cost of all the puts and options from the WRITERS point of view. And to figure out the stock value at expiration which results in minmimal
expense.

The theory being that if Max-Pain point is higher than current price the option writers will attempt to buy the stock and minimize lossess etc.

If the theory holds true the trend in AMD price will be lower tomorrow.
