Sector, Nice to have you back. Interesting little odyssey thanks for sharing it. Can't blame you. My dad was in at below 6 and put a stop in at 170 which obviously triggered. He and my mom are 80 and so this goes into CD's now with a nice guaranteed income for the rest of their lives. Not a bad thing. Sailor

Sector Investor, Thanks for your view of MRVC. I just got in at $186.00:( I was prepared to dump and run on Wed.I have a fiscal rule that when I get in,if the stock looses 20% out front,I dump it and run.My broker was on the phone and I had to catch a flight.By the time I got to my hotel room,it had dropped another 30. Fiber component space has plenty of room for explosive growth.I like what I am seeing in my DD.I think I am going to "baton down the hatches" on this one and wait it out.I am not a IRA RO type of guy...yet.:) Have had thoughts of quitting my job,just to be able to control my money under a non taxable umbrella. I would be interested in any comments you may have on my position.Do you think I am making a mistake by staying in?Also would like your comments on investigating taking money out of your IRA. To sector who wrote 19625 Sector, perhaps you can give a more objective assessment of MRVC (since you don't have a position). I bought MRVC between 10-15, saw it rallied to 194, and now back to under 50. Unlike you, I don't have it in a tax deferred account, and I admit tax consideration played a part in explaining why I didn't sell. For the most part, I believe MRVC's true value is substantially higher than 194 (CMGI style incubator for next generation internet & telecom start-ups). However, seeing it declined almost 75%, my conviction started to shake. Perhaps I am wrong ?. What's your read on MRVC now ?
