Spekulatius, I believe you are making a good move. I own BRK, MCY, and CATA. There are others I am looking at. I keep getting reports of higher prices throughout the industry - auto, reinsurance, property etc.... It takes time for price increases to work through to the bottom line because of the length of the contracts on prior business that it is still unprofitable. However, I believe it is getting clearer that things are looking up. The reported earnings may still be poor in 2000 because reserves have been run off and the old business is still out there, but hopefully investors will recognize the turn within a few months.
