You seem to be right on target here as usual. And as usual, I was shooting from the hip, loosely speaking, and would like to get the real details from the usual suspects you mentioned above.

I'll let Jack speak for hisself as far as "optical transcievers" is concerned. Sounds like some sort of an RF analog (analogy?) to me......:-))
