Could someone please assuage my ignorance? As far as I can tell, ZADAXIN is not approved for any use in the USA, right?

The March 17 news is for Thailand, Laos and Malta. The Yahoo profile says: "The Company's ZADAXIN is approved for marketing in 13 countries including Argentina, Cambodia, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Myanmar, Pakistan, the People's Republic of China, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Venezuela and Vietnam."

That's 16 countries and the press release says 19. Here's a Jan 27 article that says 15 countries
biz.yahoo.com
and talks about Phase 2 & 3 trials for drug combo's with Zadxin.

As far as I can tell, Italy is the only European country where you can get it. (I was lead to SciClone by a recent newspaper article about a Doctor who flew to Italy to get it for himself.)

Can anyone fill me in here? What I'm after is, what are the current sales to the Western World, and can we expect a large rise in the near future?

My appologies if this has already been discussed here. I'll read the back-thread as soon as I can find the time.
