I don't think so Tony, at least not any more so than a US company, though I couldn't swear by it. As far as I know, Framatome was a special case. Not remembering if it was a joint venture with the government or what the specifics were, but if you search "this thread only" for Framatome I'm sure it will provide some history for you. You can also ask Elaud on the Yahoo ALA thread, or direct a message at SI member Dave Chanoux.

All that said, ALA sure has taken a beating over this NN deal. I doubt it will go much lower (famous last words), and will double or triple my June 40 options position if it were to hit 40-41. I think it would take extrememly bad news to break 38...don't see it.
