Betty,

I make no claim to my ideas and offer them free of any encumbrances. I am dedicated to this stock, but most of all to the wonderful array of products that they have created. The creativity, innovation, engineering and functionality is unequaled in the semiconductor industry, IMHO.

My reward would be one day learning that they actually used an idea I submitted.

Aus

Aus - If they acknowledged your ideas, they'd have to give you credit

I dont think thats the worry, its that they havent even bother acknowledging them.

Of course, I dont know what the legal environment is in the US, but here in the UK if you sent an idea in I think it would be appropriate, assuming they used it, to say 'thanks, and here are a couple of 128Mb cards in appreciation" or similar. I doubt there would be an obligation to hand over large wads of money.

I think marketing is the weak area of Sandisk, I complaineda couple of years ago at the amateurish mock ups they were using of cameras and pda's on their annual report. (this was just before the stock started its long climb down towards 5 or so)
They did actually write back acknowledging my letter that time.
