>My son is also in AMCC and he was "sick" just day before yesterday.

speaking of SICK(amore) -- or SCreaMeR if you prefer -- Merrill's Lipacis (and forgive me, Osha) had a worthwhile blurb on AMCC's bidnez with them in their 'reiteration' today.

i know that Ray (and your lad) will like this one:

"We believe that AMCC components add up to $1,000 per wavelength in Sycamore's 512 wavelength system -- which could result in $500,000 in revenues for each 512-wavelength system that Sycamore sells."

time to get ill.

RE: "extremely concentrated in networking and semis"

Tell me about it! My portfolio looks like this: JDSU, ETEK, PMCS, AMCC, SDLI, EMLX, CYMI, AMAT, CSCO, MSFT, ALXN, SCLN, NERX. (The last three are Biotech.)

What are you in these days? My only problem right now is that there are too many stocks I want to own. I try to limit myself to only ten. Can't follow more than that many deeply.
