Danny Boy it is. I'd never have been able to figure that one out. I was amazed at how many different artists recorded that one - it's got to be at least one of the top 10 songs that have been covered.

Another one in honor of the day (maybe Dennis's relatives will know this one):

Now some takes delight
in the gamin & the the gamblin
& others takes delight
in the carriage aramblin
But it's I takes delight
in the juice of the barley
& courtin pretty women
in the morning early

Mush a ringum durm da
Whack fol de daddy o
Whack fol de daddy o
There's whiskey in the jar

And, as Gary will attest, I knew that Elvis recorded it.

Justin,

Are you putting words in my mouth? Oh well, yes I will attest. ;)

Here's a good one - I heard an item on the news tonight where a young boy was cited somewhere in Michigan for violating a noise ordinance by playing his car stereo too loud thru the downtown area. His punishment, he had to listen to 2 solid hours of Wayne Newton!

IMO, this is a classic example of cruel & unusual punishment. <g>
