HWP dropped the other day from over $150 to $124. Now the company headed my major Fiorina comes out with this press release. Remember Fiorina is from LU were she learned financial shaninigans and misleading reporting.

A company like HWP to engage in stock manipulation is deplorable. HWP up from 125 to 139 in two days.

HP stock rises on view it's "undervalued"

SAN FRANCISCO, March 17 (Reuters) - Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HWP - news) stock climbed 7-1/8 to 139-7/8 on Friday after the company said late on Thursday it believes its stock is undervalued.

The company's stock trades at 41 times earnings, which Hewlett-Packard said is low for a rapidly growing
high-tech company. Sun Microsystems Inc. (NasdaqNM:SUNW - news), one competitor, has a price-to-earnings ratio of 117, while another, International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM - news) trades at 26 times earnings.

But calculating for the spinoff of Agilent (NYSE:A - news), said Steve Pavlovich, director of investor relations, in a statement, HP is at a ``multiple of 25,' which ``is undervalued for a major technology company growing in the mid-teens.'

The computing giant said that its revenues were on track for the present quarter but did not specify what they would be.

Agilent, formerly the test and measurement equipment division of Hewlett-Packard, went public late last year, and is still majority-owned by HP. Agilent, up 7-5/16 to 125-3/8 Friday, is valued at 80 times earnings.

Monty, I am with you. This market has no rules and makes no sense whatsoever. If I don't know the rules, I can't play the game. I am in cash except for some gold mining stocks which I believe will eventually pay off some day. This market is not for investing, it is a pure crapshoot. Nobody knows what it will do next. I have other things to do with my time than to stay pissed off at this nonsense. However, from an historical perspective it is worth watching, as we will likely not see this unfolding disaster again any time soon. (not in my lifetime anyway). Good luck to you.
