Patent Pending for On-Line New Trading Interface
BUSINESS WIRE - March 17, 2000 13:42
VANCOUVER, B.C., Mar 17, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AlphaTrade.com (OTCBB:EBNK) announced today that the company has filed for patent protection for the world's first 100% Java and Web enabled interface for on-line trading.

"We are very excited about the possibilities of this application," states Gordon Muir Chairman of AlphaTrade, "this would allow a client to trade through any account or brokerage firm from anywhere in the world with only a click of the mouse, never leaving your streaming quote application. This is far superior then the standard web interface currently available which requires you to hop around or click through many pages or browser windows to complete a single transaction. With AlphaTrade's patent pending system, even trade confirmations would be automatically displayed and stored with no other user interaction."

This leads to a whole new arena that would allow the user to not only have tick by tick portfolio management but with one click of the mouse be able to export to programs like Intuit's (NASDAQ:INTU) Quickbooks or Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Excel. Further possibilities would allow the client to update his or her tax return with one click of the mouse, making life a lot simpler.

The company will be actively seeking out joint venture partners and licensing agreements starting as early as next month. We expect this unique trading interface to be available in the spring of 2000 and we there will soon be a demo of this system on our site at www.alphatrade.com.

AlphaTrade.com is a true E-Commerce Internet-based company with "Web-to-desktop" convergence technologies, applications and Network solutions. All subscriptions are handled online at www.alphatrade.com through a secure VPN system or if you wish, contact the company directly toll-free at 1-877-288-7799.
