Re: Comments?

Tom missed out on a 700% gain in RMBS (he points it out in the opening paragraph), and seems to be writing an article trying to justify a lower stock price. Pretty bizarre journalism (?), IMO.

Hmmm....

Since when does an "unbiased" hardware reviewer take stock market positions on his website?

A couple of comments:

RAMBUS patents cover DDR as well as RDRAM so MU may have to pay royalties on its DDR to RAMBUS.

RDRAM volume has been ramping up very rapidly since the issurs with the 820 and 840 chip sets were resolved.
Try to find DDR anywhere.

The new Pentiums will have FSB's of up to 400MHZ which will eliminate the issue of FSB speed relative to AMD later this year.

RDRAM relative performance improves as the processor speeds climb above 700 MHZ. The early benchmarks were made with lower clock speed processors which do not show the advantages of RDRAM.

:)
