Calves who should be romping and playing are locked in a shot pen, ie can't move. Fed only milk, they need grass at a week, and then slaughtered. The whole process is inhumane. Veal is really sick beef. I mean sick as unhealthy. As to chickens, free range is so much better tasting. Hogs the same. We have lost buko taste and nourishment with the "raised" animals.
