some CREE details: Shastri, can you live on $112k per month? I can see a Japanese garden overflowing onto the 10th fairway today I shifted a very small amount of my core QCOM into ELON and sold a small amount of the CREE bought near 140 gathered in last few days a nice batch of CREE, ELON now I am wondering about CREE's broken momentum spoke with UncleWest again today the Gorilla Scout par excellence expressed a loose comment today that perhaps CREE might make a non-accretive acquisition so I called him to clarify his comment was an offhand comment shrouded in conjecture I asked "spoken ex anus?" and he said "yes" the guy really needs to watch the phone company he keeps he actually said he enjoyed speaking with me he's gotta get out more some fundamental CREE details to reiterate: - production was uninterrupted in Jan/Feb during NoCarolina snowstorms - production has been 24x7 for months now, whereas last year it was not (should make for great comparisons) - big new plant sqftage comes online in June (which is soon) - no new outlays of cash needed for plant expansion (all from expansion of existing plant) - shift from 2-inch wafer to 3-inch wafer (scheduled this summer gradually) will NOT involve any disruption in operations - possible contract with World Electonic Billboard coming - CEO got burned last year by missing estimates by a penny ... he now manages and guides to lower expectations ... he stated recently that sales & earnings were strong now and were anticipated to be strong going forward - CREE sitting on something like $300M in cash (will be showing very strong balance sheet) wearing my fave Irish kelley green shirt it says "POG MA THOIN" Gaelic translation: "KISS MY ASS" great language, funny letters damned German Teuton invaders / Jim Willie
