I'd like to think you're correct about a disclosure, but I don't. It may be forthcoming, but we haven't seen it yet. That reporter did a good job of gathering information that I didn't have. It may be the rumor of a second request or the truth somehow discovered but not yet publicized. I think the companies owe their shareholders a better understanding of where the process is at this time. The spread reacted to some news, and I don't think it's options or other arb situations. It reacted to that data or rumor as such. Trends for spreads don't suddenly and violently reverse like this one did from 5% to about 30% over last 4 days for disguised arb strategies. If more information is required by the regulators or this process takes longer than initially planned, I expect that information to be divulged to shareholders, as promised. My bet is that the reporter was onto something. However, it doesn't change my investment philosophy in ETEK or JDSU at this time. However, we all have the right to know if the risk profile is different for the deal. Steve
