Flamingos feed on shell fish, especially shrimp. They probably taste just like I would.
The story about foie gras is that the feet are nailed to a board, a funnel inserted in their gullet, and an excessive diet of grain is poured down its throat. In fact, most canned pate de foie gras is composed of pork liver with a little goose fat poured in to make you gag.

Yup...force feeding enlarges the liver, laden with fat...humans savor fat.
