Raymond,

I do not know where you came from, Taiwan, China or maybe you were born in US. I have the same dream of yours that Taiwan will help China move towards democracy much faster too. However, I think people in Taiwan should have a say on the unification issues.

I came from Taiwan, how the market reacts is not very high on my list. I do not think electing a TI president will be good for Taiwan. If the pro-TI candidate is elected, how China reacts is my major concern.

Ramsey, the average US citizen, is notorious to be ignorant to issue which are not brought to them on a silver platter - e.g. media bombardement,

Secondly I am afraid to conclude that J6P is en-armored with so much arrogance that if the 7th fleet is heading to the area they will boost the stock market up, by already celebrating China's defeat and the wide opening of the Chinese market for US products only.......

It may sound strange but the war in Kosovo boosted the market, the recent action against Iraq had the same results..... reinforce their belive of super power ruling the world and can do all, no harm to us, just prosperity.

US, as a nation, needs urgently a reality check before it is to late, as the US Social Economic state of affair is extremely unhealthy.....greed and quick riches are cherished diligence and hard work are scoffed

IMHO it is a sad state of affairs but I think that is the reality.
