The great advantage of bringing Bennett onto the ticket would be to increase the level of excitement and adventure in the campaign. I am confident that Bennett would inevitably make gay rights the focus of his campaign. He would purge the Bush campaign of Dubya's gay friends, and would provide a muscular campaign to introduce stoning and the death penalty for adultery and sodomy.
His great scholarship on the issues (instructed by Dr. Cameron's research) would strengthen the intellectual stature of the Republicans. After all, he does have a Ph.D., even though he is an astoundingly credulous nitwit.
He also is a prudent man, having endorsed neither Bush nor McCain while there was a question of who would win the nomination.
I would dearly love to have that fat idiot on the ticket (Novak thinks that anyone thicker through the ears than him is "muscular.") Everyone who has had sex with anyone not his legal spouse, every one who has used unnatural birth control, or an abortion, has had sex with someone of the same sex, has used drugs, or is not a Christian of his particular sect (RC) is doomed to exclusion (that means Dubya, of course.)
Please! Please God! Let us have Bill Bennett as Bush's vice presidential running mate! It will guarantee a Gore victory and a huge majority will believe that it is the best outcome possible under the circumstances.
