Elmer,

CuMine beats Athlon by a wide margin clock for clock

Too bad that Intel can't match AMD clock for clock! Where are the GHz PIII's?

Why does AMD need to lie?

AMD has faster hardware. Intel has better compilers. Get over it.

Why does Intel need to lie about their clock speeds?

Elmer,

Why does AMD need to lie?

Is it true that Intel rigged their compilers to generate lousy Athlon code?

Tell the truth!

Elmer,
A lone voice cries in the wilderness

no-one hears, no-one cares, we see the speeds, we see the sales, we experience the assorted benchmarks on our machines and those of our friends and we read trusted others like, Toms, Anand etc., and we decide that AMD does not lie, we decide that Intel does have problems, we know Intel is large and thus has large problems..and we smile and it is easy to ignore your lone voice.
