Reminds me of the time I used to date Mavis Webster, the host of PM magazine in 1980. I was only twenty,but had just got my degree. Told my mother i had a new girl friend , she said whats her name , I said Mavis. Mother responded "is she black" jokingly. I said sure, "she'll be on TV in 5 minutes." I turned the contrast on mom's tv real low so the images were dark without her knowing it.......got a good laugh before she caught on..............
