Your theory makes a lot more sense Jim. Although I know MMs get short these stocks and squeezes can happen, I just didn't buy this was the case here, since it came and went so quickly. As you state, probably inexperienced buyers who some MMs took advantage of by raising the price rapidly. They'll probably push it back down Monday to scare up some shares.
