Thomas a good point, however carrier telecommunication business in N.America will be run independently form Eu and ALA in Eu will restructure.
At the end it will be N.American employee who will push
Carrier Internetworking Division.

In theory ALA can always, after certain time, issue tracking stock for carrier business. It will be the fastest growing division.

March 11-17'th Economist Magazine, page 60, Charlemagne column, offers a fascinating 1 page perspective on this situation in France. Focus is on Mr de Seilliere, and what he thinks can happen during this decade to transform France into a competitive place to live and invest.

PS: EU ought to ban the communist party, and kick Austria out as well.

Thomas, I'm not sure what portion of ALA's 120,000 employees are based in France...it would be interesting to know ALA's staffing levels by country or continent. Alcatel is just about everywhere, including the US.
