My original question remains unanswered. How and when was this meeting supposed to take place? The only reference I have found so far is per Jim's lawyer who indicated a Saturday morning meeting.

Recall you cited the following line from Vanity Fair: "...and was going to give her his comments the following morning." I suppose you could infer there was a meeting planned but I assure you a) there was not, and b) Attorney Ira Grudberg never meant to imply there was. Also, as he wasn't actually quoted, there is no quote to verify nor actual words to speculate upon.

I think you are also hung up on the word "morning". My guess is Ira just wanted to imply Jim intended to get back to Suzanne ASAP, the key word here being "intended" (as opposed to "scheduled"). I mean, I intend to answer all my e-mail tonight but that doesn't mean I will nor that I won't do other things things that catch my attention in the mean time. And even if I end up not answering it all doesn't mean anyone can say I didn't really intend to.
