To All,

More ground swell of industry support as evidenced by this from amdzone.com

With all of the new motherboard news I've updated my Athlon motherboard list. It's reached the magic 69 number. I've also updated many of the links and release dates.

The above mentioned "Athlon motherboard list" can be found at slota.com

Near the bottom of the "Athlon motherboard list" an entry for Tyan's Dolphin motherboard. Notice that the Dolphin is dual Athlon CPU motherboard based on the soon to be released AMD 770 chipset. Tyan has a reputation for building high quality motherboards that are extremely stable. Just what is needed for SMP Athlon-Mustang based servers coming in Q4!

Kindest regards
CrazyMan

CrazyMan, re:<have you selected a motherboard yet? How much memory? OS?> Epox 7KXA, 128M PC133. I got a Coolermaster dual fan heatsink ($16). The 7KXA doesn't have any overclocking capabilities that I could find, but its the first VIA KX133 based board thats readily available. I didn't start putting it together yet, last weekend was a bathroom remodel/church weekend.

I think I'll buy a new SCSI hard disk and hold out for Windows 2000. Someone advertised it for $139, I'll see it its legit or not.
