I agree that the Taiwan elections will likely be a non-event. There was enough conciliatory talk to relieve whatever tensions were present. That said, I agree that there is some possibility that it could effect the entire tech market, but I doubt it.

Grenspan on Tuesday will likely have more effect. Frankly, though I expect the techs and the market to rally after Tuesday.
