Time Frame Justa. I think we are seeing about 6.5% in VTSMX already plus a bit of dividends since last summer. Seems fine for me as a total return going forward. Unless you are really good at picking tops AND bottoms, timing is a risky game that nobody has done successfully if you look at 20 years of data for any timer. I'd love to see 100% return in the market, but over 7.2 yrs would suit me just fine. Good point on asset class. My BTTRX (Zero Coupon Fund) is up something like 15% YTD. Even better than cash for me! Has out performed all the other diversification moves I've made in the last 6 months. regards Kirk out
