I have family members that give me the money and I invest for them in my name.. they don't want the hassles of doing it themselves so i do it for them...

You guys must have really interesting tax returns. Do you properly account for Nominee Interest and Dividends (received for others), deducting the amounts from your return and referencing your family members' SSNs as required by the IRS? Who pays taxes on capital gains? Do you consider the amounts transferred back and forth as gifts?

IMHO, a person has to be nuts to do this quasi-legal stuff.
