Hi Joan:

I agree that the roll-over is not yet underway, although I like the volatility exhibited. (g)

Most of us have learned to leave our emotions behind when it comes to the stock market, but the callous, contrived, indeed fraudulent comments coming from the analytical community as it relates to the tech sector have crossed over the line. I'm going to enjoy the next few months as we see these pimps and the firms that pull their puppet strings, take it in the chops.

I am also becoming less inclined to worry about the general public. If they are dumb enough to soak up a Micron "upgrade" on the backside of those Q2 crummy numbers of Tuesday, then they deserve to be burned.

What we are watching in some of these semis is a couple of the world's largest funds trying to hold back the tide. Unfortunately for them, the probability of success isn't high. They will "paint" a pretty quarter end, but good luck to them over the coming spring/summer. The semi boys have too much product and too few customers. Prices are headed lower and most are selling just above all-up cost of production.

Best, Earlie
